Writing and Editing Samples – Jason K. Allen

Some of these pieces are old and a bit rough, while others are shiny and new. But I think it shows my varied interests and writing styles — and (hopefully) my progress. I started out as a news writer, quickly transitioned to a features writer, then was abruptly pulled into sports writing/editing. Since then I’ve also delved into travel writing, entertainment writing, script writing, technical writing, and nature writing.
